Dak Lak - Many international tourists visiting and vacationing in this province have been impressed by the delicious taste of coffee here.

On April 13, Mr. Nguyen Son Hung - Head of the Tourism Management Department (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province) - said: "In the first 3 months of 2022, there were a total of 500 foreign tourists visiting the province.

Particularly during the Hung King's death holiday, there were about 150 foreign guests who came to stay in the locality. This is a very good signal that the province's tourism industry is making significant recovery steps after the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic."

Since the beginning of the year, Dak Lak province has welcomed nearly 260,000 visitors to visit and travel, mainly domestic tourists. Total tourism revenue is estimated at more than 121 billion VND.

Mr. Pham Hoai Nguyen Anh - Director of Anh Coffee Co., Ltd. said: "During the recent Hung King's death holiday, the unit welcomed about 20 international tourists to visit and enjoy coffee at the processing factory. This time the visitors mainly came from European countries and Japan.

Here, visitors feel that Dak Lak coffee is very special, impressed by its delicious and unique taste. They also admired the process of producing, processing and closing coffee for the first time with many stages. Many people have never even enjoyed coffee, but now when they come to Dak Lak, they have felt the deliciousness of this agricultural product."

It is known that the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has publicly announced a list of tourism service providers for tourists and travel service businesses to choose to sign contracts to build tourism programs to sell to guests. The province also arranges separate areas for international visitors, not sharing the same area with domestic visitors.

Dak Lak will also link with other provinces to build a program to welcome tourists between localities.

According to Mr. Hung: "Currently, international tourists when coming to the locality no longer face many obstacles in terms of epidemic prevention and control regulations. Because, Dak Lak province has applied the reception of international tourists in accordance with the spirit of the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Health".
